Periodontist

Duties and Responsibilities: you'll treat patients who have gum disease and other issues of the gums and bones surrounding the jaw. Your work may be surgical or non-surgical and might include tasks like placing implants, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative care.
Salary: $192,680-$305,820.
Education:  four years of dental school, required to complete a periodontics residency which usually takes three years. 
Demand for this particular career: In order to become board certified, you will need to pass a written and oral exam administered by the American Board of Periodontology

Reflection: I would like to be a Periodontist because it looks like it can help a lot pf people with their teeth and how they all would have a better smile.
