For example lets say the way someone is dressing, it might not be like the others. Maybe the reason is he doesn't have many things like the rest of us and that is wrong. Which is why we should be nice and not judge. Things happen with the person that we aren't going through. When I say " things can surprise you" I was saying that when we meet someone new we can be surprise by the way they act it could either be bad or good.

We should be able to forgive people for what they have done and continued with our life being happy and not bitter.  If we stay mad and vengeful our whole life, we will have had never truly recovered from that event. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying ( and getting caught). Other people trust you more when you tell the truth. You don't have to tell( and remember) more lies to keep your story straight . you gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value. telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside. Barbara is saying that we should always tell the truth. We shouldn't lie to fit in. When we are in a situation we should use the reason to help us.

To take the CTR path and not let others persuade them into doing something else. We all need to do the right thing. A video that our teacher showed us was that a girl didn't care what others though of her, she just wanted some friends and also she's choosing the CTR path.

" I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating."- Sophocles I would have to agree with Sophocles, the best thing to do for our self is to be honest. Because then if we didn't we wouldn’t be able to forgive our self for winning by default or by cheating. You’re victory sure wouldn’t feel as good or the same than if you would have just did it the right way. For example if you were to cheat on one of your finals, and you end up getting 100% on it. You won’t feel as good as if you would have just studied and not cheated. More than likely you won’t be able to get that guilt out of your head. Just like Sophocles I would rather fail but do it the right way. Then cheat and win it all because then I would just feel guilty. When you accomplish these goals you feel good and it feels like you accomplish something. Doing the right thing is as important than not doing the wrong thing, its good for your health and can help you live a better and a happier life. That’s what should be important to you is to have good values. For example you should do things so your image can be shown as someone who has great values. If you don’t have good values then your image as a person will be different. It should be important to have great values. We should also always be thankful to have good values because some people don’t like using these values like great, helpful, and many more. I like to use values because you are making yourself have a good reputation for/to others. It’s also important to have good values because good values are what motivate people and it makes them who they are today to do good values and that’s what leads them to success. It shows the type of person you will become later on. Its what's going to help you.

We do good things because that's the kind of people we are. We show self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem.
