What this quote means is that doing the right thing only makes you a better person. It makes people look up to you to respect you and to have self-respect for yourself. I do not agree with this quote people do what they want to. Some doing the wrong thing makes them feel good. We do good things because that's the kind of people we are. We show self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem.
