This quote is saying that you should care more about your character, Either if you choosing the right or if you choosing the wrong. It depends on you to choose how your character is going to be. Don’t let others decide on how your character is going to be. I suggest choosing the right because you will succeed in life. If you choosing the wrong you will face consequences in life or make your life a living hell. You will ruin your reputation and people will judge you for what you did. For example our teacher showed us a baseball player had good character because he was honest and didn't cheat. A baseball team did not had a good character, they were liars and cheaters, and they kicked out. This is why we need to choose the right and have good character.
