This quote means that when you do good your actually living but when you do bad your not really living. Only those who live will do good. Our teacher showed us a article about a football guy that turned down his family or anyone close to him and that just showed that he wasn't choosing the right. Another thing our teacher showed us was a video about a fifteen year old boy apologizing to the older women for what his dad did to her. So what you do in life will determine who you are in life. What Count Leo Tolstoy is saying is that whenever you do good you live life to the fullest.
